Work from anywhere in the US, as part of a small team, supporting federal government customers located on the Atlantic coast and New Mexico. Must pass federal background investigation.
Maintain intranet and potentially .gov public website content, using the Drupal web content management system (WCMS). Meet with customers on Teams to document requirements. Build wireframe design prototypes and page flows. Confirm with customer. Build out web pages following United States Web Design System (USWDS) standards. Build Section 508 (WCAG) compliance in from the start of each project. Use accessibility tools to test for Section 508 compliance.
Deliver documentation, which may include requirements documents, design documents, test plans, status reports and other document deliverables. Attend meetings during workdays.
Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build interactive features such as dynamic menus, form validation, and AJAX requests.
Use JavaScript libraries and features along with Drupal themes and modules.
Knowledge of popular JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue preferred. Follow all customer design standards to include branding, writing style, accessibility features, USWDS standards, and more.
Must have high speed internet and a secure work location in a private space where work cannot be seen and conversations cannot be overheard.
